The 10 Essentials
The Boy Scout motto is “Be Prepared”. The best way to prepare for an outdoor adventure is by packing the 10 essentials. Therefore, all good packing lists start with the 10 essentials. The 10 essentials is a list of 10 categories of items that you must have to survive any situation in the wilderness. I will base this packing list off of the 10 essentials. Most of the items you will need to bring yourself, however a few will be optional. This is either because the item will already be provided or is not essential.
